Communion and Liberation is a lay movement within the Catholic Church whose members seek to discover the relevance of the faith to life's daily needs through the encounter with Jesus Christ in the community of believers and beyond. The founder of the movement, Msgr. Luigi Giussani, is the author of the book "The Religious Sense" and the text we are presently discussing. Msgr. Giusssani said "I came to believe deeply that only a faith arising from life's experience and confirmed by it could be sufficiently strong to survive in a world where everything points in the opposite direction. Faith corresponds to some fundamental, original need that men and women find in their hearts."
Join us for weekly School of Community on Wednesdays at 7pm in the Conference Room at the IHM rectory. All are welcome.
