Adoration Chapel

At Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, we have been uniquely blessed with a history of Eucharistic Adoration available in our Marian Chapel day and night during the week.
As of March 2024, our current Eucharistic Adoration hours are as follows:- Mondays and Wednesdays: 7:15 AM until 9:00 PM
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: 7:15 AM until 1:00 PM
- Fridays: 7:15 AM until 6:45 PM (after Lent 8pm)
We are planning to increase the hours as adorers sign up and commit to an Adoration time slot. We are using an online signup process to manage our schedule of committed Adorers. Scheduled adorers must agree to an ongoing commitment of their time. Please sign up only if you are able to stay for the entire full hour and be in attendance on an ongoing weekly basis. If you are added to the schedule, you will be responsible to find a replacement and/or notify the committed adorers who share your hour if you will be absent.

Considerations for Adorers
Our scheduled adorers agree to an ongoing commitment of their time for Eucharistic Adoration at IHM. Please signup ONLY if you are able to stay for the entire full hour and be in attendance on an ongoing weekly basis. If you cannot make it to your adoration hour, you will be responsible to find a replacement and/or notify the other committed adorers who share your hour that you will be absent. Other considerations include:
- Arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of your adoration hour
- Do not leave the adoration room if you are the only person left
- Silence your phone prior to entering the adoration room
- Step outside if you need to use the phone or speak with someone, whispering can be disturbing to other adorers
- Clean up after yourself by returning the kneelers/books to their place
- Sanitize the chair and space you used before leaving in consideration of the next adorer
- Should any issues arise please contact the rectory to notify one of the priests

Saints and Popes agree that Our Lord’s Presence in the Blessed Sacrament is a powerful and beautiful gift to us. Spending time with Jesus is also powerful and beautiful gift that we can give to Him!
It is an opportunity to Adore Him – He truly is amazing and it is a gift for us to be able to recognize the awesomeness of God!
It is an opportunity to show our Contrition – we can speak from our hearts and acknowledge our pettiness and sinfulness and ask for His grace to go to Confession and begin anew to grow in holiness.
It is an opportunity to Thank God for all His gifts to us – for our family and loved ones, our talents and successes, our joys and all the beauty of life!
It is an opportunity to Turn to Him for the grace we need to become saints – for our family and loved ones to become saints – for health and happiness, for those suffering in the world…
And especially since our chapel was dedicated specifically for this intention, to Pray for Vocations – we pray for current priests and seminarians, that they be Holy … and we pray for those whom God is calling…
The venerable Fulton Sheen called this time an ‘Hour of Power’! It is also a beautiful hour of Love!
